What is the departure time?

Our standard time for departure is to vacate the furnished apartment by 11am. If you need a later departure time, please call our office (865-266-8224) to discuss your options. Usually, any departure time past 2pm may incur an additional charge.

What are your check-in times?

What taxes apply to your stay?

All stays over 30 days are non-taxable in a furnished apartment. Applicable sales and room taxes do apply for all stays less than 30 days. The current lodging tax rate in Knoxville is 9.25% for stays of 30-89 days, 0% for over 90 days, and call for details for stays under 30 days.

Is there a minimum stay?

We are the ONLY executive housing company that GUARANTEES AVAILABILITY on shorter term stays. We do have a 2 night minimum stay and community flexibility is required. Please call our office at 865-266-8224 for more details.

What are the payment options?

Payment options are flexible. All major credit cards are accepted (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). For major corporations, direct billing is available.

Can I upgrade or change my furniture package?

While our apartments are tastefully decorated and our guests are quite happy with their furnishings, we may get the occasional request for additional items or changes to the furniture. You may require a bedroom to be converted into an office or a family may need twin beds delivered to a specific bedroom. Taking our top priority of guest satisfaction into account, we will be happy to accommodate your request. Additional charges may be incurred for changes.

Are pets welcome?

All of our communities are pet friendly (The Fountains at Andover does not allow dogs). Breed/weight restrictions for dogs will apply depending on the community location. It should be noted that there is a $200 non-refundable pet fee for your animals should you elect to bring the pet with you. Provided the animal does not damage the apartment, no additional charges are incurred for the family pet. You are responsible for pet damages.

Who should I call regarding maintenance issues?

We have a Guest Services Coordinator located in our office dedicated to making sure each and every one of our guests is satisfied. Once we’ve been notified of a maintenance request, the Guest Services Coordinator will call the request into the community office staff.  The maintenance department typically takes care of a request within a 24-hour period.  Should they need more time, we notify our guest of the delay and the completion date.  Usually this only occurs when a part needs to be ordered to fix the problem.  The Guest Services Coordinator can be reached at (865/266-8224) during our normal office hours (Mon-Fri 8 am - 5 pm).  If you are a current guest and you have a maintenance issue that requires immediate attention when our office is closed, please call our emergency cell phone at (865/266-8224).

What is included in your furnished apartments?

Our apartments come standard with a fully equipped kitchen meaning all appliances, pots, pans, housewares, and everything you need to prepare meals is included in your apartment. We also supply a washer and dryer, televisions, and apartment accessories in your unit (for more details see Apartment Furnishings).

Another unique benefit that our company provides is weekly housekeeping. On your scheduled cleaning day, our friendly housekeeping staff will come by and perform all of your general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens. They will also change your bed linens and provide fresh towels. Apartment utilities such as electricity, water, expanded cable, internet, and a local residential phone line are included in your rate as well.

Do you provide temporary housing for other cities?

As of 2017, Ideal Corporate Housing provide corporate housing throughout the beautiful Commonwealth of Kentucky.

We are the only temporary housing company that is locally operated in Kentucky, Tennessee and West Virginia, and we will soon be expanding to other states.  We have served Lexington KY area for over 20 years but have now expanded to the entire state of Kentucky. Since we only serve the corporate housing needs for only Kentucky, we can dedicate all of our personnel to focus on taking care of our guest’s needs and providing the “attention to detail” that our guests demand and deserve. The Ideal Corporate Housing team works, lives and plays locally, and our staff is from all over the state, so we understand the needs of those who are relocating here, moving within the state or just passing through.

What is the difference between our executive housing and a hotel?

Ideal Corporate Housing offers spacious, beautifully decorated furnished apartments. Our corporate apartments are much larger than both regular and extended stay hotel rooms. We offer a more “home-like” living environment than you’ll find in a hotel.

Ideal Corporate Housing chooses only the most upscale communities in KY, TN & WV. All apartment residences feature a fully equipped kitchen, and the units have separate dining, living room, and bedroom areas. All of our bedrooms have a walk-in closet and an attached bathroom (It should be noted that our 3 bedroom apartments have only 2 bathrooms). A washer and dryer are included in all of our corporate apartments as a convenient laundry option. A wide range of personal services and exceptional amenities gives our executive housing accommodations an atmosphere of luxury and convenience, as well as the comfort of feeling at home.
